Greenlight Happenings
Written by James Tomlinson

Everything you see on this page should be available at Greenlight Collectibles retail accounts this month and next.  Greenlight Collectibles is thrilled to announce three new lines -- Country Roads, Muscle Car Garage - Street and Strip, and Auction Block.

The County Roads line (above) pays tribute to small town USA .  In this assortment you will find the cars and trucks that routinely travel the dusty back roads of America.  This lineup will include a great 1965 Chevy Chevelle (Unrestored), 1965 Dodge D-100 Sweptline (not shown), 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible, 1967 Dodge D-100 Stepside Utility Truck, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, and the 2008 Arapahoe County-City of Centennial Sheriff Dodge Charger Police Car.  5,000 units of each car will be produced.  Just like most Greenlight Collectibles cars and trucks, each will feature:

*Opening Hoods
*Detailed Engines
*Real Rubber Tires
*Metal Body and Chassis
*Detailed Graphics and Custom License Plates
*Officially Licensed by General Motors, Ford, Dodge and Chrysler LLC

The Country Roads vehicles are due out in November.

The next line (above) is familiar in some respects but new in others -- Muscle Car Garage – Street and Strip.  The Muscle Car Garage line is obviously not new to inveterate Greenlight Collectibles collectors and fans, but instead of the usual Stock & Custom line the company has changed Series 8 to a “Street & Strip” line.  Hence, the “official” name of the line MCG Street & Strip – Series 8.  This beefy lineup will include the 1964 Chevy Chevelle (Street version), 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury Drag Car (Strip version), 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona (Street version), 1969 Plymouth Road Runner (Street version), 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe (Strip version), and the 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda AAR (Street version).  7,000 units of each car are being produced.  They offer all the great fully-loaded features you’ve come to expect from Greenlight Collectibles, and are officially Licensed by General Motors, Ford, Dodge and Chrysler LLC.  As you’re peeping at this these cars will be in stock at Greenlight Collectibles retail accounts.

Last this month but definitely not least, Auction Block – Series 6 (above) is getting ready to release. This line-up boasts the 1968 Chevy Chevelle SS 396, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona HEMI, 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible, 1971 Plymouth Cuda Convertible, 1988 Pontiac Trans Am, and the 2007 Ford Shelby GT500. This assortment has the blessing of General Motors, Ford, Dodge and Chrysler LLC; their blessing in the sense that each model is officially licensed by same.  6,000 units of each car is being produced.  By the time you're done reading this these cars will be at retail.

Quote of the day

Robin: "Picked up the seal pulsator yet, Batman?"
Batman: "We're still over land, Robin, and a seal is an aquatic, marine mammal."
Robin: "Gosh, yes, Batman, I forgot."
