 The original version of this Octopus shuriken was made of aluminum, and unlikely to cause damage, unless you're talking putting an eye out (which it could), but it's cool nonetheless. How do you get one? Well, it's from Hollywood Collectibles, and it'll run you about $50 for what you see here; the nifty Octopus shuriken replica and the display stand. Figure on it arriving at specialty retail sometime in January or February.  This weapon was used by Samuel Jackson, in his role as The Spirit’s arch-nemesis, The Octopus. Using the original screen- used Star for reference, Hollywood Collectibles recreated this signature weapon pretty much perfectly. The shuriken measures 7” in diameter. |
