One of the most anticipated genre movie releases of the year is My Name Is Bruce, starring the one -- the only -- Bruce Campbell. Soon to be one of the most anticipated male action collectibles, quite possibly of all time, is this 1:6 scale Bruce Campbell action figure. What?! IF you haven't seen the movie yet, well then, you don't have It. And if you don't have It, how are you going to get It? You can only get It by watching the movie. In the film, Bruce Campbell (himself) is abducted from his trailer-park home to fight against Guan Di, a Chinese war deity. Thinking it all a joke, although thinking clearly is not one of his strong suits in this picture, Mr. Campbell discovers that it all is real, much to his shock and dismay. Mayhem ensues. (Drooling fanboy verbiage continues below image!) ![]() The fully articulated action figure is formed from a 3-D scan of Campbell himself. In addition to a custom fabric miniature version of his actual Hawaiian shirt, which was loaned to Dark Horse Deluxe by Mr. Campbell, proving that he's the kind of partner who would "give you the shirt off his back," an array of movie-specific accessories is also included. Two of those character-specific accessories are miniature "angel" and "devil" versions of Mr. Campbell. They attach to his shoulders using hidden magnets. But that's not enough accessorization for the official action figure of Experience, no siree. What else do we have for all those bargain-conscious S-Mart shoppers? Look forward to: • Shemps Olde Tyme Whiskey • A Bruce collectible toy in melted package • Refreshing Lemon Drink bottle • A miniature Chins book • A big honkin' gun with price tag still attached Perplexed? Flummoxed even? Not if you've seen the movie. And if you haven't see the movie, you don't have It. But you want It. Trust us on that one. When's the soonest you can get your very own Bruce Campbell action figure? Figure mid-August 15, 2009. How big is he? Personal question, but how's 12-inches of fully articulated man-doll strike yah, along with a very Lucky seven accessories. It's a Dark Horse Deluxe product, so you know it's coming to you in a "Deluxe" collector box. How much are you gonna shell out? About $49.99 And also because it's a Dark Horse Deluxe product, you gotta know that the Bruce Campbell 12" Figure is available for pre-order -- right now -- at Things From Another World! |
