Sideshow Collectibles to boost Classic Monsters line with dioramas

Sideshow Collectibles announced the planned expansion of its Universal Studios Classic Monsters line, to make room for a series of new dioramas based on vintage horror icons from the Universal Studios stable.  According to an internally-generated press release, the first diorama would soon be available for pre-order.

Sideshow Collectibles nearly single-handedly revived the Universal Classic Monsters with electrifying collectible figures, from the long since retired 3-inch Little Big Heads, to 12-inch figures, to Life-size busts. The great caricatures and "dead-on" likenesses achieved by the Sideshow creative team had much to do with establishing the company early on.  Sideshow looks forward to a enthusiastic response to this expansion from collectors.  Check out SideshowCollectibles.com for more information.

Quote of the day

Robin: "Picked up the seal pulsator yet, Batman?"
Batman: "We're still over land, Robin, and a seal is an aquatic, marine mammal."
Robin: "Gosh, yes, Batman, I forgot."
