Bowen's Black Queen
Written by James Tomlinson
Monday, 01 December 2008

We've got two Black Queens for you today, from two different shops.
This first one is from Bowen Studios, sculpted by Mark Newman.

X-Men villain Mastermind messed with Jean Grey's mind, making
her believe in the theater of her own mind that she was a Victorian
swell and a member of the infamous Hellfire Club as the Black Queen.
When she broke free of his hypnotic hold, her mutant powers
were re-awakened and she morphed into the Dark Phoenix.

This statue is 13-inches tall and features a removable cape, which
allows you to view some of her posterior assets.

When will she be at specialty?  She's there now.  Check the fine
retailers that advertise with us here on the web site or in the magazine.

Quote of the day

Robin: "Picked up the seal pulsator yet, Batman?"
Batman: "We're still over land, Robin, and a seal is an aquatic, marine mammal."
Robin: "Gosh, yes, Batman, I forgot."
