Bionic Commando
Written by James Tomlinson
Friday, 09 January 2009

This 7-inch figure from NECA perfectly captures the hero of Capcom's Bionic Commando, Nathan "RAD" Spencer, as he's geared up for his new mission to rescue the denizens of Ascension City.
The events of this video game take place ten years after the NES installment, Bionic Commando Rearmed. According to a Capcom press release, the sequel follows Nathan "RAD" Spencer, the hero from the original game, and a government operative working in Ascension City and an Operative for the Tactical Arms and Security Committee or T.A.S.C.  He is supported in the sequel by a character named “Super Joe,” (the aforementioned government operative) but we don’t know if this character will be produced in action figure form by NECA.  “RAD” has been produced, packaged, and shipped, to specialty retail.  It’s in stores now.

Quote of the day

Robin: "Picked up the seal pulsator yet, Batman?"
Batman: "We're still over land, Robin, and a seal is an aquatic, marine mammal."
Robin: "Gosh, yes, Batman, I forgot."
