Batman Black and White: Penguin
Written by James Tomlinson
Monday, 24 November 2008

After a long run of interpretive Batman statues, finally we get a second Bat-Villain, and a Bat-villain extraordinaire -- The Penguin!  From DC Direct.

This popular Black and White statue line continues to expand as The Penguin
becomes the second villain to join the series.  Designed by famed artist
Brian Bolland (sculpted by Ray Villafane), this pose is taken directly from a
panel in Batman: Black and White, Vol. 1.

The statue measures approximately 6" high x 4.5" wide x 4.5" deep, is
painted in monochromatic tones, features a Bat-logo-shaped base and
is packaged in a black-and-white box.

This one will cost you roughly $75, and hits specialty retail on or
around July 8, 2009.

Robin: "Picked up the seal pulsator yet, Batman?"
Batman: "We're still over land, Robin, and a seal is an aquatic, marine mammal."
