Is this, or is this not, the spitting image of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne? Once again, under special arrangement with Japanese toymaker Medicom, DC Direct will be offering another 12" Bat-figure -- this time, Bruce Wayne. Nay, not just any Bruce Wayne, but Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, from the film Dark Knight. This one swings at you straight from Medicom's Real Action Heroes line. Batman's billionaire philanthropist side is importantly appointed in a neatly pinned power suit, and bristles with 29-point, kick-the-badguy's-butt, articulation. To top it off, the figure comes with a display stand. It's being touted as a "Limited Edition," but without an end number we can't know what that means exactly, and neither can you. We do know it's cool-looking. It'll cost you about $175 to own one, and you can do that somewhere around next July. But, you can probably pre-order it via Diamond's Previews catalog.  |
