Lee’s Toy Review #143/September 2004
Star Wars 2005 Revenge of the Sith cover

The new issue of Lee’s Toy Review is landing on newsstand at this very moment, and you’ll see that we really sunk our teeth into the San Diego Comic Con. Last month’s issue was just the tip of the iceberg; this month we cover the bottom of the arctic. The September issue #143 picks up where #142 left off reporting on San Diego Comic Con releases and exclusives including the newest from Art Asylum, FunKo, Hasbro, KBD, Majestic Studios, Mattel, McFarlane, NECA, Sideshow Collectibles, SOTA Toys, and
Toy Biz. Bonus features include Monsterism Island, Marvel Mini Mates, Dark Shadows, Sports Picks, JL Unlimited, Clone Wars, Scary Girl, Kill Bill, and coverage of “A Weekend of Heroes (AWOH) 2004” event.

As always, the DMV section features the coolest Hot Wheels, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Issue #143 also features the newest Dragon Models tanks and Corgi planes. Johnny Lightning lights up the pages with its Coke Automoments and Classic Gold Release 2, while Jada’s new Homie Rollerz Wave 2 and 1:24-scale Import Racers drive the collectors wild. Greenlight Collectibles’ new assortments are also included in this month’s DMV section.

Regular monthly appearances are also featured, including Action Review and DMV Mechanics, as well as G.I. Joe Files, Transformers File, Inve$tmentary, i-News, and Price Guide News. You’ll be sure to find accurate information in our detailed price guide; from action figures to die-cast cars, we’ve got it all.

PLUS
Our monthly pull-out guide for September features Lee’s Guide to Collecting Simpsons from 1990 to the present. Discover all the figures, accessories, plush dolls, vehicles, role-playing games, and Hot Wheels from Mattel. Also included in the guide is Series 1 to 16, reissues, foreign merchandise, celebrity series, playsets, dioramas, Faces of Springfield 9, vehicles, PVC sets, Blockos, plush dolls, exclusives, and miscellaneous items from Playmates Toys.

This and more is just waiting for you to peruse in another informative and entertaining issue of Lee’s Toy Review.
