2009 Bone Shaker Regular Treasure Hunt

Curious if anyone else has found this with the LRW initials on the base. I found one and just curious how rare it might be. Thanks for any info.

Re: 2009 Bone Shaker Regular Treasure Hunt

I have heard of a few Bone Shaker hunts with the LRW initials on the base being found.  I would say it's pretty rare.

Basically this is a Treasure Hunt that was accidentally assembled with a base meant for a Larry's Garage Bone Shaker.  LRW are Larry Wood's initials and Mattel etched his initials into the bases on some of the Larry's Garage cars as chase pieces in the series.

It's like the orange '69 Camaros in the mainline that were being found in Mexico with the white LRW initials on the black bases.  They are errors that turned into pretty rare variations.  Your Bone Shaker is the same way.  Nice find.
